Can I Verify Active Balance on a Customer’s Card or Decline PrePaid Cards?

Question

When creating a free trial, can I put a hold on a card to verify an active balance? or  Can we decline pre-paid debit cards, in order to reduce our free trial misuse?

Answer

Currently it's not possible for you to instruct any payment vendor to decline pre-paid cards, or put a hold on an account via the MemberMouse integration.

If you want to “put a hold” on a card, the best option would probably be to offer a paid $1 trial. This would really help to filter out people that are not serious about purchasing your product.
